Sammi “Pretty Girl” Peters
Sammi crossed over the rainbow bridge on September 27, 2019, while in the arms of her loving momma. Sammi had almost 12 years on this earth with the Peters family, but they will tell you that it simply was not long enough! Sammi’s sweet and loving nature was a bright spot everyday in the lives of the humans that loved her.
Sammi’s start in this world was a little rough. She was a stray, roaming the streets of Elwood. Thankfully, she found her way to Pizza King, where her mom, Tricia worked. After a short time of feeding this sweet little stray, Tricia had built a bond with her that she could not deny. After checking with Grandma Martha, Sammi was adopted into the Peters’ home where she was able to receive the love and care she deserved.
Sammi was very affectionate to her family, and her furry brothers and sisters. She never had any kittens of her own, but she took on a motherly role to the cats around her. You could often find her caring for them and grooming them. Sammi loved to eat; she was very vocal at feeding time. Her favorite snack of popcorn was shared daily with her favorite buddy, Uncle Robert. Sammi will be missed by every member of her family, but they are very thankful for the time they had with this beautiful creature God created for them to love.
Sammi is survived by her loving family: Mom, Tricia; Grandma, Martha; Uncle, Robert; Fur kitty sisters, Smokey, Miss Elle, and Pearl; Fur kitty brothers, Marley, Boo, Liberty, Shadow, Domino, Bandit, and Lugnut.
