Arthur Cloum Obituary

Arthur “Muff” Cloum, age 80, of Windfall, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Arthur was born in Monroe, Michigan on August 16, 1944, to his parents, Elias & Ethalyn (Williams) Cloum.  On July 29, 1973, Arthur married the love of his life, Jeanne Brunk.  They shared 52 years of marriage and a lifetime of memories.

Arthur graduated from Monroe High School, class of 1963. He was an incredibly hard-working man retiring from Tri-Central High School as a member of the maintenance staff.  He proudly served in the United States Army, serving a tour in the Vietnam War.  He was awarded a Purple Heart medal for his bravery and dedication while sustaining injury during battle.

Arthur enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and hunting deer, rabbit, squirrel, and duck.  He coached little league baseball for 30 years.  He coached and grew the love of the sport for each of his children.

Arthur was outgoing, he made friends wherever he went.  He loved to tease everyone, always a jokester!  He had a kind heart and joy in his soul.  Above all else, he was a family man. Arthur loved spending time with his grandchildren, making sure they each knew how special they were to him.  He will be greatly missed.

Those left to carry on Arthur’s legacy of love are his wife, Jeanne Cloum; children, Scott Kincaid (Lori) of Marion, Troy Cloum (Michelle) of Sharpsville, Heather Steed (Nasir) of Kokomo; grandchildren, Stephanie Olsen of Idaho, Anthony Steed of Kokomo, Owen Powell of Atlanta, Grace Powell of Arcadia, Jenna Shelton of Marion; great grandchildren, Lucas Overton, Maggie Olsen; siblings, Jackie Pastorius, Dianna Mettie; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Arthur was welcomed into Heaven by his parents, Elias & Ethalyn Cloum; and siblings, Dean Cloum, Everett “Willie” Cloum, Charles “Dink” Cloum, and Louise "Freddie" Loop.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday, August 12th from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Rock Prairie Baptist Church located at 421 Ash Street in Tipton.
