Bentley Horn Obituary

Bentley Horn, age 11, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on December 2, 2023.  He was born in March of 2012 and went to his forever family shortly after.  Austin fell in love with him the moment he saw him and knew he was the one to complete the family!

Bentley was a beautiful boy, a gentle giant.  He had one blue eye and one brown eye that just made you fall in love with him.  He had such a gentle spirit, never one to be mean or aggressive.  His brother Briggz, a corgi, always tried to fight with him but Bentley would just pin him down with his paws and look at him.

He truly loved everyone he met, and everyone loved him right back!  Being around people was Bentleys favorite thing in life!  He enjoyed going to baseball games to watch Austin & Daetyn.  When Daetyn would go to work with Joe at the shop, he and Bentley would always play a fun game of hide and seek.  Bentley was a lot better at the game than Daetyn, always finding him right away.

Bentley was known as “Sharpsville’s Dog” because he loved to roam around town to visit everyone.  When Dollar General came to town, Bentley added it to one of his favorite stops.  He would go right in and see what they had to offer that day, always getting lots of attention and treats.  He would go in, take a nap, and then go on with his day.  He became a staple in so many people’s lives.  Last year, Bentley went missing and the whole town was worried sick about him.  Everyone was so helpful with spreading the word and being on the lookout for him because they loved him so much.  When he returned, they all breathed a sigh of relief that he was home and able to do what he enjoyed the most. Bentley touched so many lives and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Bentley is survived by his dad, Joe Horn; human siblings, Austin (Alycia) Horn, Victoria Horn, Daetyn Horn; as well as his many friends throughout Sharpsville.
