Booger Schenher Obituary

Booger Schenher, age 16, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday April 15, 2020.  He was born in 2004 and lived with a family for 10 ½ years.  They made the hard decision that they could no longer care for him and he was lucky enough to be adopted by his amazing family, the Schenher’s. They took him in and gave him all the love and attention he wanted, not to mention spoiled him rotten!

Booger had many nicknames; Boogie, Boogiebutt, Boogmeister, and Boog. He was a big, beautiful boy with a gentle soul.  His eyes were gorgeous, so round and green.  He had the softest little meow, especially for his size.  He enjoyed playing with all of his furry siblings but had a bit of sibling rivalry with his much bigger brother, Ingo.  Boog would get between Darin and Ingo if Darin tried to love on Ingo.

Booger had a favorite toy, a giant gray rat, that he would carry with him wherever he went.  He would thunder through the house at night meowing while carrying his giant rat!  He liked his food to be on schedule and if his mom and dad were taking too long to get up in the morning, he would paw at their faces to wake them up so they could fill up his bowl.  He enjoyed being spoiled; his favorite treats were Temptations, catnip flavored.  Speaking of spoiled, Booger would sit in front of the fridge and “ask” for fresh water out of the fridge.

There wasn’t much he didn’t like but he hated car rides.  He was comfortable in his home and that’s where he preferred to be, with those he loved most in this world.  Although he loved both of his parents, he showed a bit of favoritism to his daddy, Darin.  He would lay on his chest and lick his shirt, soaking up all the attention.  He was a pretty lucky boy to belong to such a loving family.

Booger is survived by his parents Darrin & Kim Schenher and his furry siblings Ingo, Maggie, Lilly, Sophie, Fox, and Oreo.  He will be greatly missed.
