Carmen Maria Duprey, 85, daughter of late Juan Bautista and Isidra Cruz, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 29, 2024. Carmen was a devout wife to Salvador Duprey for 60 years. She was baptized as a Jehovah Witness on August 3, 2019, in Virginia. In 2022 Carmen and her husband relocated to Indiana where she attended Noblesville English Congregation.
Carmen, born in Isabela, Puerto Rico, loved Jehovah, her husband, children, and grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, crossword puzzles, gardening, cooking, sewing, and spending time with family and friends. Carmen was a passionate soul, she loved life and found much joy in making others happy. She will be greatly missed!
She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan Bautista and Isidra Cruz; daughter, Diana Duprey; Son, Jose Torres; and grandson, Chacka Dwhaj.
Left to cherish Carmen's memory are her husband, Salvador Duprey; two daughters, Linda Torres and Jacqueline Torres; a son, Sal Duprey; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A visitation to celebrate Carmen's life will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Taylor & Cowan Funeral Home, located at 314 N. Main St. in Tipton.
