Caroline Jade Whitehead

Just 14 hours after coming into the world, our sweet girl Caroline Jade passed away in the presence of her parents at IU Health North in Carmel, Indiana. 

Born nearly 17 weeks early and weighing only 1 pound 5 ounces, Caroline was still able to grip the finger of her mother and father and respond to their touch during her brief stay on earth.  She was born at 10:09 AM on March 8, passing away the next day at 12:08 AM.

Caroline joins her grandfather Jim Hawkins; her great-grandparents William & Virginia Hawkins and Howard & Marge Tunmer, in Heaven.  

She is survived by her father and mother, Christopher & Meg Whitehead; her twin sister Aria Kate Whitehead; her grandparents Jeff & Tish Whitehead; her grandmother Jane Hawkins; great-grandparents Dan & Sue Purvis, Elaine Hall, and James & Judy Parrett; aunts and uncles Andrew & Holly Whitehead, John & Amy McKay, and Stacey Hawkins; cousins Hunter McKay, Karly McKay, Gabe Hawkins, Hallee Whitehead, and Audree Whitehead.
