Clydena June Gamble
Clydena Gamble, age 74, of Tipton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 22, 2021. She was born on August 18, 1946 to her parents, Clyde Emerson Crow & Goldena Leone (Snipes) Crow.
Clydena graduated from Carmel High School in the Class of 1964. Most of her life she was employed as a secretary, performing clerical work. Clydena retired from Northwest Florida Community College in 2009, where she worked as a student loan officer.
Clydena had been a resident at Miller’s Merry Manor in Tipton for the last 7 years. She loved sitting outside, and conversating with the many folks who crossed her path. She earned the title of “greeter” and was quite proud! It’s safe to say Clydena was a people person!
She also enjoyed car rides, eating out, and watching her favorite TV shows. Clydena’s favorite place on earth was a Florida beach, and you could often find her collecting teddy bears and sparkly jewelry! More than anything, Clydena loved her family wholeheartedly. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her!
Those left to carry on Clydena’s legacy of love are her Daughter, Tammy Dulworth; Grandchildren, Jessi Dulworth, Maggie Dulworth; Sister, Pat Baptist (Frank Fritch); Niece, Rebecca Pettigrew; Nephew, Michael Demlow; Step Niece, Cassandra Quiniones; Step Nephew, Eric Baptist; Long Time Friend, Doug Baptist; and Best Friend, Donna Montgomery.
Clydena was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
