Colby's family wrote a beautiful tribute to honor him.
Colby Jack Holman came to the Holman's as a rescue. Craig saw his photo posted in a dental office, and the rest is history. He arrived when he was just six months old as a present for Aaron’s 8 th birthday. From the day they met, Colby and Aaron were best friends. Aaron had wanted to name his dog Jack, but he already had the name Colby so the dog became a favorite flavor of cheese.
Colby was a curious puppy. He chewed on everything, but his favorites were Barbie doll legs and woodwork. Colby loved camping, especially bonfire marshmallows. He liked taking walks, but most times he walked the human. He was a fierce protector of the Holman house from outsiders. Colby loved water but not baths. He was a snuggler and excellent foot warmer. He loved ear and belly rubs and rump scratches. He enjoyed his trip to the TKE house in Evansville and liked to go to TC to pick up the kids from practices. Colby Jack will be greatly missed.
Colby is survived by his family: Craig, Heather, Toby, Aaron, Maggie and Lorna. Colby was greeted in heaven by his grandpa, Tom Holman.
Taylor & Cowan is honored to serve Colby's family. Please feel free to leave an online condolence with his family on his tribute wall.
