Dale E. Jones

Dale Edward Jones, age 74, of Tipton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at The Waters of Tipton. Dale was born on April 21, 1949, to his parents, Bill Jones & Wavoline (Gagle) Witham in Fort Recovery, Ohio.  Dale married the love of his life, Annette Cunningham, they shared many years together and a lifetime of memories. 

Dale was one of a kind, to put it simply, he was a nice guy.  He had a huge heart for others, always making sure everyone around him was well taken care of.  He was one of the good ones!  Dale was a gentle soul that is rare in this world; he will be greatly missed.

Those left to carry on Dale’s legacy of love are his wife, Annette; and their children & grandchildren.

Dale was welcomed into Heaven by his parents, Bill Jones & Wavoline Witham.

A funeral service celebrating Dale’s life will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Taylor & Cowan Funeral Home located at 314 N. Main St. in Tipton, IN with Pastor Joe Brock officiating. The doors will be open at 1:45 PM.  Burial will take place immediately following the service at Fairview Cemetery in Tipton.

You were always there for us and became our friends over the years. With your knowledge and expertise, there is no doubt you prolonged Dale’s life and I can never express my gratitude for that gift.” Thankfully, Dale is now at peace, and with his heavenly father. Many thanks to you all, Annette.
