Daniel Reynolds Obituary

Daniel “Danny” Reynolds, age 50, of Elwood, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. Danny was born on January 31, 1971 to his parents, James Reynolds and Mickie (Barnes) Zwiefelhofer. Danny married Melissa Ripberger on June 3, 1989, and the two have shared 31 years of marriage.

Through the years Danny held jobs working in plumbing, construction, and mechanics. To many, Danny was thought of as a master mechanic! He loved cars, especially fast cars, and driving was one of his favorite past times. Danny had a great personality. He definitely kept his family and friends laughing. He sometimes had a tough exterior, but those who knew him well knew what a soft heart he had. At his core he was a family man, always extremely protective of his loved ones, and always reaching out a helpful hand for anyone in need! Danny will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him!

Those left to carry on Danny’s legacy of love are his Wife, Melissa Reynolds (Kendra Foor); Parents, James Reynolds and Sam & Mickie Zwiefelhofer, Children, Vince Reynolds (Sara Boyer), Angel Reynolds (Jake Hearn), LaKota Votra, Serenity Votra; Grandchildren, Laydon Coons, Logan Reynolds, Hazel Reynolds, Layla Reynolds, Daisy Reynolds; Siblings, Michelle Lewicki, Brandon Reynolds, Toni Reynolds, Harold Reynolds; Nieces & Nephews, Dylan Lewicki, Dakota Lewicki, Brayden Reynolds, Abby Ripberger, Malachi Dunlap; Mother-in-law, Pam (Bob) Wyatt; Sister-in-law’s, Lisa Ripberger (Rob Richards), Kerry (David) Bechtel; and Brother-in-law, Marcus Ripberger (Tiffany Johnson).

Danny was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Clarence & Dixie Reynolds, Wanita & Dan Barnes, Robert & Francis Zwiefelhofer; and Father-in-law, Mark Ripberger.
