Dawn Pennock

Dawn Iris Pennock, age 69, of Tipton, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021, at her home in Tipton. Dawn was born in Lapeer, Michigan on May 4, 1952, to her parents, Daniel & Dorothy (Fox) Brown. On July 3, 1988, Dawn married John Pennock; they shared 33 years of marriage.

Dawn worked in a nursing home for many years and being the natural caregiver that she was, she enjoyed her job immensely. She loved to clean the house and always kept an immaculate home. Dawn also loved to cook, and you would be hard pressed to find someone better! She always prepared her meals with a special ingredient…love. She taught her husband to cook as well. In her spare time, you would find her curled up with a good book! 

She was such a loving wife and mother. She was a best friend to anyone lucky enough to be in her family. They could always count on her to be a confidant and was very trustworthy with anything they came to her with.

Those left to carry on Dawn’s legacy of love are her husband, John Pennock Sr.; children, John Pennock Jr., Cathy Jo (Michael) Harris, Elizabeth Ann Pennock, Ike Graham, Branden Graham, Eliza Graham; brother, Dale Brown; grandchildren, Terry Pennock, Ashley Skinner, John Pennock II, Nathan Downing; and ten great grandchildren.

She was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, Daniel & Dorothy Brown, and her brother, David Brown.
