Diana L. Parton

Diana Lynn Parton, 66, of Tipton passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, November 17, 2025. She was born on November 7, 1959, in Tipton to her parents, Robert Edward Parton and Ina Jean (Morris) Parton. Diane attended Tipton High School and was in the class of 1978.     

Diane lived her life with a quiet strength, and she uplifted everyone around her. She had such a devoted love for her family that never wavered. She always showed up with encouragement, guidance or simply the comfort of her presence. Diane was an amazing mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her warmth and wisdom shaped many hearts through the years. 

She was truly the glue of her family and held people together through every season of life. She celebrated joys, supported through hardships, and led by example when it came to loving well. Diane believed deeply in doing things the right way; a value she lived out every day through kindness, integrity, and her willingness to help others. She was strong in her faith, and deeply loved her church family, Church of Christ, in Tipton.

Diane had an unbreakable spirit. She always took life on with courage and grace. Her impact on others was far greater than what she realized or ever gave herself credit for. She will be missed beyond measure by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her!   

Those left to carry on Diane’s legacy of love are her children, Stacy Reeves (Chad), Jessica Ahern (Karl), Jeremy Hill, Taylor Carter (Matt), Olivia Fulk (Brock); grandchildren, Bryant Reeves, Jordan Reeves (Kenna), Jordyn Arthur, Nicholas Arthur, and another grandbaby on the way. Diana is also survived by a great grandson, Bryson Reeves; siblings, Kim Rood (Tony), Phil Parton, Chris Parton, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Bob & Jean Parton; and her brothers, DeWayne Parton and Bruce Parton.

A service celebrating Diane's life be will be Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Noon, at Church of Christ located at 622 W. Jefferson St in Tipton with Pastor John Ankrum officiating.  Visitation for family and friends will be prior to the service from 10:00 AM - Noon. Memorial donations in Diane’s honor may be made to Taylor & Cowan Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses. Contributions can be submitted using the online donation link located at both the top and bottom of her obituary page.
