Diana Jane (Baden) Young

Diana Jane (Baden) Young, 71, of Tipton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 11, 2025 with her family by her side. Diana was born on March 15, 1954 to her parents, Robert Baden, Alice Baden, and biological mother, Helen Browning. Diana married Bill Young on November 3, 1975, and he preceded her in death on March 8, 2021.   

Diana attended Tipton High School. She then went on to earn her degree in nursing. She worked for Tipton Hospital for many years. Diana was a hard worker. She had the gift of empathy and cared deeply for her patients. She was kind, gentle, and very helpful which made her an exceptional nurse. 

In her free time, Diana found peace in crocheting and took pride in the beautiful pieces she created. She also collected angels. Diana’s faith was always very important to her. She was truly a woman of God and an encouragement to many throughout her life.  

At home, Diana was the heart of her family. She was a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, and a proud grandma. She poured love into everything she did. Her family was her joy, and her legacy will live on in each of them. 

Those left to carry on Diana’s legacy of love are her children, Joe Young (Tina), Darlene Young; grandchildren, Jocelyn Young, Waylon Young; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Diana was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Young; parents, Robert & Alice Baden, Helen Browning; and brother, Roger Hamilton.

No formal services have been planned at this time.
