Dylan Allen Jordan

Dylan Allen Jordan, age 16, of Tipton, IN was welcomed into Heaven on Monday October 7, 2019.

Dylan was born in Kokomo, IN on June 21, 2003 to Rob & Laura (Taylor) Jordan.  He attended Tri-Central High School and belonged to the class of 2022. 

Dylan was a very kind soul, a bright light to so many.  He was always happy with what he had, never wanting more than what he had already been given.  Dylan was the type of person that enjoyed giving to others more than receiving things himself.  He was funny, sweet, and full of life. His smile was amazing and brought joy to everyone around him. Dylan loved to joke around and be the life of the party.  He was known for wearing funky socks, the funkier, the better! 

One of Dylan’s greatest joys was playing baseball.  His dad coached him through his entire baseball career; the time they spent together on the field together will be forever cherished.  Dylan was the type of teammate every coach dreamed of.  He was supportive of everyone on his team, always lifting up others even when he wasn’t having his best game.  He also had a love for basketball and participating in Tipton County 4-H. He had great friends that he enjoyed hanging out with.  Dylan was loved by so many and was a friend to all.  He will be greatly missed. 

Those left to carry on Dylan’s legacy of love are his parents Rob & Laura Jordan; sister Jessica Jordan; grandparents Shirley & Bob Taylor and grandmother Donna Jordan; aunts and uncles Kim & Scott Beard, Michelle Jordan & Jimmy Tragesser; cousins Brittanie Jordan, Wyatt & Kelsey McPherson, Corbin and Bailey Beard.  He is also survived by many friends.

Dylan was welcomed into Heaven by his grandpa Ray Jordan and his great grandma Eunita Parks.   

Visitation will be held on Thursday October 10, 2019 from 4:30 - 7:30 PM at Tri-Central High School in the main gymnasium.  A funeral service will follow the visitation starting at 7:30 PM with Pastor William Salsbery officiating.  We ask that everyone enter through door number 1 of the high school and fall into line.  Please anticipate a long wait and be prepared to stand in line.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Dylan's honor to Tri-Central High School Baseball League or Tipton Babe Ruth League.
