Edward P. Hale

Edward Hale, age 60, of Tipton, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 30, 2025, at his home in Tipton. Eddie was born in Noblesville, Indiana on October 18, 1964, to his parents, Kenneth & Patricia (Robinson) Hale.  On April 27, 1986, Eddie married the love of his life, Angela Whyte.  They shared 37 years together and a lifetime of memories before she passed away on June 13, 2021. 

Eddie was an incredibly hard-working man!  He worked for Heartland Growers for 39 years.  He was dedicated to his employer and took great pride in his work. 

In his spare time, Eddie loved nothing more than spending time with his family, his grandchildren were the apple of his eye. He enjoyed watching golf and football, Notre Dame being the team he loved to root for. He also liked to go for a cruise in his F-150 through the country, just enjoying the peace and quiet of the open road. 

Eddie was just like a big teddy bear, big and intimidating on the outside but warm and fuzzy on the inside.  He was known for being naturally funny without trying to be.  He was also very caring and had a warm heart, especially for those he loved the most.  Eddie was independent and loved to take care of others.  After an injury, he had to give up some of his independence and allow others to help him just as he had helped others in their time of need.  He wasn’t always happy having to receive help, but he was grateful for his family for taking such great care of him.  He will be greatly missed, but his love will carry on through his wonderful family.

Those left to carry on Eddie’s legacy of love are his children, Joshua & Jess Hale; grandchildren, Julia, Aidan, Ezra, and Remington; brother Tim Hale; sister-in-law, Mindy Hale; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Eddie was welcomed into Heaven by his parents, Kenny & Patty Hale; wife, Angie Hale; sister, Cindy Compton; and brother, Tom Hale.

A service to celebrate Eddie's life will be Friday, June 20, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Heartland Growers, located at 2621 E 186th Street, Westfield, IN 46074.
