Ella Grace Bush crossed over the rainbow bridge on Saturday, October 15, 2022 while in the arms of Sherry, her loving mom. Sherry rescued Ella in 2010, from a shelter in Franklin, Indiana. In fact, Joe & Debbie Cottingham, (Ella’s aunt & uncle), drove Sherry in the middle of a snow storm to get her sweet little dog. At the time Ella was presumed to be between 3 and 5 years old. So, it goes without saying that Ella has lived a long life filled with lots of love!
From day one Ella was Sherry’s shadow. She never wanted to be alone. Ella was the boss it seemed, wherever she went. She had a way of getting what she wanted from the special people in her life that loved her most. Ella ruled the roost, and had a comical demeanor. Ella’s favorite person, and perhaps the one that spoiled her most, was her Grandma Porter, who babysat for her every day.
Ella absolutely loved car rides with her mom and her aunt Kim. She also loved eating her Cesar dinners, bologna & cheese and chicken. It’s safe to say, Ella was so spoiled that she was a bit picky with her food. She sometimes held out to get the chicken she always wanted. Lol, some days it was probably a good thing that she was such a beautiful dog, with an amazing disposition.
Ella was precious to many and will be greatly missed!! She is survived by her mom, Sherry Bush; aunt, Kim Porter; and grandma, Annie Porter.
