Georgia Sue Goodman

Georgia Sue Goodman, age 80, of Elwood, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 20, 2023. She was born on November 6, 1942 to her parents, Ivan Goodman & Winona (Edgell) Murray.  

Georgia graduated from St. John’s Catholic School in the Class of 1960. Through the years, Georgia worked as a librarian. She was also a gifted seamstress. Georgia was a people person, and will be remembered fondly for her outgoing, friendly personality.    

Those left to carry on Georgia’s legacy of love are her daughter, Mary Angelene (Doug) Heron; 1 sister; 1 brother; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  

Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 sisters.  

Burial will take place in Tipton’s Fairview Cemetery on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Taylor & Cowan Funeral Home is honored to serve Georgia’s family in their time of need.
