Jerry Frazier Obituary

Jerry Allen Frazier, 65, of Tipton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 20, 2022.  Jerry was born on March 10, 1957, to his parents, Charles Cleveland Frazier & Lanette Elizabeth (Jones) Frazier. Jerry married the love of his life, Debra Lynn (Martin) Frazier on July 28, 2001, and the two shared over 21 years together.

Jerry grew up in Windfall and attended Tri-Central High School. After school, he proudly served in the United States Army. Jerry was employed by Tipton Municiple Utilities as a lineman and dedicated himself to serving the city of Tipton for many years before retiring. Jerry was a member of the Moose Lodge as well as the American Legion.

You would be hard pressed to find a soul who didn’t completely enjoy the company of Jerry Frazier. He drew others in with his contagious smile and fun spirit. He laughed constantly and with his crazy demeanor, was almost always teasing those near and dear to him. Jerry’s family meant everything to him, and he was never shy about expressing himself. He was well known for peppering his sentences with colorful language! Jerry never ran short on terms of endearment, and often made his wife laugh with his flirtatious nature.

In Jerry’s younger years he was in a band and played the guitar. Throughout his life he enjoyed golfing, playing pool, throwing horseshoes, and rooting for the Colts. Jerry was a true patriot and enjoyed his freedoms. Jerry could often be found with a beer in his hand, and he could talk just about anyone into having a shot of fireball with him! Fun followed Jerry everywhere he went. In his orneriness, sometimes inappropriate words crept out of his mouth, especially the F-bomb. Not everyone could get away with the humor that Jerry shared. But those that really knew Jerry, knew that this was his gift to the world! And, if you really knew Jerry, count yourself as blessed!

Those left to carry on Jerry’s legacy of love are his wife, Debbie Frazier; children, Jesse (Shannon) Manis, Dustin (Charity) Neal, Karissa Snyder Jones; siblings, Brenda (Bill) Stearnes, Janice (James) Lee, Benny Frazier; grandchildren, Jacob Manis, Jackson Manis, ReBeka Neal, Alekz Neal, Jaymes Neal, Mary Beth Neal, Baby Maverick Neal (who hasn’t quite joined this world yet), Wyatt Jones; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jerry was welcomed into Heaven by his parents, Charles Frazier & Lanette Phifer, and brother, Kenny Frazier.
