Juniper, aka “Junie” “June”, was born in the Summer of 2006. She crossed over rainbow bridge on March 19, 2021.
Juniper was bought at the Pork Festival. It was easy to choose her; she was the cutest turtle there! She ended up having an amazing demeanor and she quickly bonded with her family. She had a beautifully, unique patterned shell. Juniper was funny in the sense that unlike most turtles, she ran from crickets because she was terrified of them! She did enjoy eating krill and shrimp.
She loved sunbathing and turtle yoga. She was sweet and sassy and added so much love to her family’s everyday life. Juniper was around for more than 14 years (longer than any other animal they’ve had). She will definitely never be forgotten…..she shared so many precious moments with her amazing family.
Juniper is survived by her owners, Mason Lewis and Michelle Gipson Davis, several cat siblings, and a Labrador brother, Casey.
