Karen Sue Miller, 64, of Tipton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, while surrounded by her loving family. Karen was born on April 20, 1958 to her parents, Olen Miller & Jeanette (Bieri) Miller.
Karen was a 1976 graduate of Tipton High School. Through the years, she held several jobs working as a cook for assisted living facilities. Karen was an extremely loving and caring woman, so working in an area of service was a natural fit for her.
Karen loved her family with everything she had. She was a proud mother and grandmother, and never missed an opportunity to brag about one of her girls! Her favorite thing in life was definitely spending time with her grandkids; but you may have also found her reading, laying on the beach, tending to her plants, playing with her cats, or baking. Karen was very outgoing and free spirited. She loved the outdoors! Karen had the respect of many simply because of the way she approached life. She wasn’t afraid to take risks or speak up when something wasn’t right. If you needed help, Karen was someone you would want on your side fighting for you! She was strong willed, quick thinking, a little stubborn, and so very loyal. Karen’s health battle was a long and hard road; but she fought courageously and was a true inspiration to her family. Thankfully, all of the precious memories will continue to inspire future generations! Karen will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her!
Those left to carry on Karen’s legacy of love are her daughter, Elizabeth Lee (Doug Blackford); sister, Lynne Miller Delph; grandchildren, Isabella Lee, Veronica Lee, Sophia Lee; a great grandbaby on the way; nieces & nephews, Isaac Delph, Shanna (Josh) Davis, Ian (Karen) Delph; great nephew, Dakota Delph; and beloved cats, Penny & Sunny.
Karen was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, Olen & Jeanette Miller.
Out of respect for Karen’s wishes, no funeral services will be held.
Taylor & Cowan Funeral Home is honored to serve the Miller family in their time of need. Please feel free to leave an online condolence or share a special memory of Karen with her family on her tribute wall.
