Kristopher S. Boucher

Kristopher Steven Boucher, 41, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 11, 2025. Kris was born on September 8, 1984 to his mother, Anna Mae (Richards) Townsend.    

Kris graduated from Kokomo High School in the class of 2002. Through the years, Kris worked in retail and also ran his own construction company. He was known for his great sense of humor, outgoing personality, and friendly nature. He was a true music lover; you could usually hear Kris's music playing well before you saw him. He found joy in all different styles of music. Kris was a passionate person and had many interests; from hunting and fishing to gambling and fast cars. It’s safe to say he was always up for a good adventure!

More than anything, Kris loved his family. He was incredibly proud of his children, and always counted it a blessing to be a father. If you knew Kris, then you will never forget his vibrant spirit, quick wit, and his ability to brighten your day. So many memories of love and laughter that will be cherished forever. Kris will be missed beyond measure!       

Those left to carry on Kris’s legacy of love are his mother, Anna Mae Townsend; children, Kristopher Boucher Jr,. Zach Boucher, Haley Boucher, Piper Warren; siblings, Larry (Jennifer) Boucher, Tony (Stacey) Lee, Misty (John) Andrews; aunts & uncles, Elliott (Shirley) Richards, Mary Richards, Jack (Carrie) Richards, Bobby Richards, Ruth Smith, Robin (Suzanne) Richards, Phyllis (Johnny) Fields; great aunt, Emily Mengas; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  

Kris was preceded in death by his grandma, Martha Lanning; and uncle, Charles Richards.

A service celebrating Kris’s life will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 1:00PM at Taylor & Cowan Funeral Home, located at 314 N. Main St. in Tipton with Pastor John Waters officiating. A visitation for family and friends will take place prior to the service from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at the funeral home.
