Lacey Altherr, beloved miniature pincher, passed over the rainbow bridge on Saturday, May 21, 2022. She was born on April 16, 2005 and was very blessed to spend her 17 years on this earth with a very loving family.
Her dad, Joe brought her home in a little bucket, as a gift to her mom, Linda. However, It didn't take long for little Lacey to become Joe's dog! The two had an unbreakable bond. They always picked on each other. Lacey loved to show her teeth for her dad every time he said, "Cheese!" Lacey was playful and fun. She chased squirrels every chance she got. She also very much enjoyed laying in the sun, taking car rides, going swimming, getting in the trash, and chasing her family up and down the stairs. Nothing made Lacey happier than a trip to Grandma's house, where she was sure to receive endless attention, treats and table food. After playtime was over, Lacey loved curling up next to Braxton and taking a nap. If Braxton wasn’t available then Lacey would opt to nap in her own little bed. Recently, Courtney got a new little kitten…who constantly tried to take Lacey’s bed! She often put up a fight….but always ended up giving in and letting the kitten sleep with her:)
The Altherr family feels beyond blessed to have had 17 years with this amazing animal. They are doubly blessed to have one of Lacey's puppies, Harley, who will continue to spread love to the Altherr family!
