Larry Joe Easton, age 60, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Larry was born in Tipton, Indiana on January 13, 1961, to his parents, Lonnie & Elsie (Armstrong) Easton.
Larry was a Tipton High School graduate, class of 1980. He worked as a mechanic for most of his life. He started out by his dad’s side, learning so much from him! His first real job was even with his dad at the same shop. He also worked as mechanic for Noblesville Schools. More recently, he drove a dump truck for Beaver Gravel in Noblesville.
In Larry’s free time, he enjoyed bowling and fishing. He enjoyed being outside either working in the yard or on projects. The only thing that was better than being outside was being with his family!
Larry was fun to be around and knew how to have a good time. He loved making his friends and family laugh with his unique sense of humor. He was an incredibly hard worker. He would do whatever was needed to make sure his family was taken care of. Larry’s hands were calloused and rough, a working man’s hands, but they were gentle and kind to his children. His presence will be greatly missed.
Those left to carry on Larry’s legacy of love are his daughters, Christina (Andy) Welcher and Heather (Michael) Bess; grandchildren, Shaye Welcher, AJ Welcher, Dakota Bess; siblings, Linda (Red) Morris, Robert (Glenda) Easton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was welcomed into Heaven by his parents, Lonnie & Elsie Easton, and siblings, Edie Wisman and Roger Dale Easton.
A visitation will be held Monday, October 25, 2021, from 4:00 - 8:00PM at Taylor & Cowan Funeral Home located at 314 N. Main Street in Tipton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made in Larry's honor to the American Heart Association. A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 10:00AM with Pastor Joe Brock officiating.
