Lilly Peel Obituary

Lilly Peel ( our Lilly Girl ), age 10 years 11 months, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge with her Mom & Dad by her side.  She was born on November 24, 2010.

Lilly's mom, Jamie wrote a beautiful tribute to their girl:

I only got the privilege of having Lilly in my life for the past 5 years. She was a very special bonus to marrying her daddy in 2016. Her daddy on the other hand had her since she was 6 weeks old. Lilly was one of a kind she was smart, beautiful (even when she was rolling in the dirt after a bath) intelligent, and the most obedient dog I have ever known. She had the most soulful dark brown eyes with the perfect eyeliner; she told us so much with those eyes. Lilly loved to chase wildlife and often won, she loved rolling in the mulberries and dirt ( especially after a bath ). She loved food and would steal it when you weren’t paying attention and then pretend she didn’t do anything to try and get her fur brother in trouble. Lilly loved to lick you she knew when you were sad or hurting she would lick your tears away wanting to let you know she cared and she would lick you when she knew she did something she shouldn’t have as to say I’m sorry, do you forgive me? She loved her yard and laying in the sun on quiet mornings before the crazy fur siblings woke up, she got to laying in her yard one last time in the sun the day she passed away. Lilly and her daddy had a very special bond, when it was time for Lilly to cross the Rainbow Bridge she wanted to be in her daddy’s arms and on his lap. She did give me one last lick to let me know she loved me too...Lilly will be missed dearly and she will never be forgotten .

Lilly is survived by her parents,  Gary & Jamie Peel; human siblings, Kaz Floyd & Shane Floyd Jr.; kitty siblings,  Katie , Milo , Grace , Betty , Abby , Zoey , Henry , Hope; and dog siblings, Tucker Joe & Ellie Mae.

“Dogs are loyal, patient, fearless, forgiving, and capable of pure love.

Virtues that few people get through life without abandoning, at least once.”—M.K. Clinton
