Linda (Whitehead) Duncan, age 71, of Tipton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Community Howard Regional Health in Kokomo with her loving family by her side. Linda was born on June 19, 1950 to her parents, Robert “Bob” Whitehead Sr. & Norma (Welcher) Whitehead.
Linda graduated from Windfall High School in the Class of 1968. She married the love of her life, Steven Duncan on May 16, 1969. Linda worked for Delco Electronics in Kokomo, IN and after retirement she worked in the cafeteria at Tipton Community School.
Linda was a no-nonsense kind of woman! She was genuine in every way. You always knew where you stood, and could count on her honesty at all times. Her faith was strong, and she was extremely family oriented. In Linda’s younger years, she very much enjoyed caring for horses and loved barrel racing. As years passed Linda’s most enjoyable times were spent with the ones she loved! She was helpful to everyone and always willing to do whatever was needed. Linda was truly one of a kind and will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her!
Those left to carry on Linda’s legacy of love are her husband of 52 years, Steve Duncan; son, Brad (Jamie) Duncan; grandchildren, Chance Duncan & Hunter Duncan; siblings, Shirley (Jim) Miller, Bob (Vickie) Whitehead, Roger (Lisa) Whitehead & Barb (Lee) Flick; many nieces, nephews & cousins; as well as beloved dog, Riley.
Linda was welcomed into Heaven by her dad, Bob Whitehead; daughter, Tammy Duncan; and In-laws, Paul & Betty Duncan.
