Linda Morris Obituary

Linda Sue (Easton) Morris, 74, of Kempton, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 23, 2026 with her loving family by her side. She was born on July 17,1951 to her parents, Lonnie Easton and Elsie (Armstrong) Easton. Linda married Robert “Red” Morris on October 14,1977 and the two were blessed to share 48 years together.

Linda dedicated nearly 30 years of employment to Delco Electronics before retiring. She was always hardworking and that carried over to every aspect of her life. Linda was the very definition of generosity. She was a woman whose heart was always open and whose hands were never still. She was devoted to her family and built her life around caring for them. Linda actually would help anyone she saw in need. She truly went the extra mile in all things, giving her time, talents, and unwavering support without hesitation.

Linda was a planner and natural organizer. She had a gift for turning ordinary moments into special times. Whether she was decorating, crafting, sewing, or cooking, she poured love into every detail. She believed that anything worth doing was worth doing beautifully. Christmas was a magical time in the Morris home. Most touching of all was the tree that Linda dedicated to remembering all of the loved ones who had passed on. Not only was it a beautiful tree, but it was also a beautiful reflection of how deeply she cherished her family.

Throughout her life, Linda seemed to be well in touch with her gifts and how she could use those gifts to serve others. She lovingly made blankets for women and children at the homeless shelter. These were people she never met, yet still cared for. She was also an active member of the Women’s Civic League of Kempton, where she planned and organized countless events that strengthened the community. Linda  was truly one of a kind! She was thoughtful, endlessly giving, and completely irreplaceable. The love she shared, the traditions she created, and the lives she touched will carry her memory forward through the generations.

Those left to carry on Linda’s legacy of love are her husband, Red Morris; children, Laura Dwigans (Pete), Lisa Tidler (Tiny), Len “Buddy” Williams (Traci); grandchildren, Holly Dwigans, Brad Dwigans (Heather)Garrett Tidler, Chase Dwigans, Brooke Stidham (Jake), Chelsie Balensiefer (Jake), Taylor Williams, Lane Williams, Charli Hiser (Travis), Sam Williams, Katie Williams; great grandchildren, Kyan, Haleigh, Trey, Alice, Simon, Ben, Thea, Cash, Steven, Ace, Arthur; brother, Bobby Easton (Glenda); as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Linda was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, Lonnie and Elsie Easton; siblings, Roger Dale Easton, Edna Wiseman, Larry Easton; and great grandson, Asher Knox Dwigans.
