Lisa Williams Obituary

Lisa Ann Williams, age 65, of Tipton passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. She was born on July 31, 1958 in Richmond, IN to her parents, Clarence Williams and Judith (Null) Williams.

Lisa attended Hamilton Heights High School. She earned her QMA certification and worked for Westfield Village Healthcare for many years. Lisa also worked for NRG Electronics in Cicero. One of the constants about Lisa was the fact that she always had a job and was well thought of for her meticulous work ethic. Even after retirement, and when she was supposed to be on disability, she continued to work. Many folks will remember Lisa from Gas America at Baker’s Corner. She was the sassy one who always shared a smile and word of encouragement to all who passed through; despite the fact most of those days she was not feeling well. Lisa was a go getter, and her resilient spirit always shined through; especially to her children.

Lisa was a “happy go lucky” kind of gal. Her friendly, outgoing personality drew others in. She loved her simple life and didn't get caught up in the craziness of this world. She was genuine, trustworthy, and loved her family well. She taught her children to appreciate music. Lisa liked the classic 80’s groups; Journey was her favorite! She also loved camping, and enjoyed the solitude brought by nature. Above all, Lisa loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart and beamed with pride for each of them!

Those left to carry on Lisa’s legacy of love are her children, James (Cheryl) Trietsch Jr., Rachel (Jason) Sayers, Michael (Breann) Miller; grandchildren, Brandt Trietsch, Tyler Trietsch, Austin Sayers, Jacob (Lacy) Sayers, Trevor (Koda) Sayers, Drew Sayers, Jaxson Sayers; great grandchildren, Landon Sayers, Liam Sayers, April Sayers, Emma Lewis, Hunter Lewis, Oaklee Sayers; siblings, Bobby Jo (Audrey) Williams, Terry (Dan) Morris, Randy Williams; beloved dog, Sassy; devil cat, Calico; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lisa was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, Clarence and Judith Williams; daughter, Faith Dawn Arney; and sister, Tracy Lee Miller.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
