Little Miss Princess Dozer Daniel "Dozie" Salinas

Little Miss Princess Dozer Daniel Salinas, age 13, crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Friday, March 11, 2022.  She was born on November 30, 2008.

Her family wrote a beautiful tribute to their special girl, Dozie.

We got Dozie at 11 weeks old from the state of Kentucky. They called her mama Ladybug (Lady). Dozie got her name from bulldozing her way through all the puppies to get to her mama, thus her name, Dozer.  But since she was a girl, we called her Dozie! She was very curious girl so if you didn’t see her, you better go look because the spunky girl was the most likely into something she was not supposed to be into! This is how she got her name Nosey Dozie but on her good days, Dozie Doe! We got her brother Louie (Lefty Louie) when Dozie he was six months old, but she was always the boss and would quite frequently bully and scold him but were the best of bully friends until Louie passed away May 12, 2020. 

Dozie and Louis both had their favorite stuffed animals and funny thing was they kneaded and acted as if they were nursing off them. Dozie's was a little pink pig and Louie’s a big Winnie the Pooh! One of Dozie‘s favorite things was cold weather especially the snow; she loved eating snow, and it didn’t matter how many bowls of water we had in the house, she wanted the water bowl outside because the water was ice cold.

We were heartbroken when our sweet boy Louis passed and Dozie‘s passing has left us with so much pain in our hearts. We loved both of these bullies so much but we got a whole year and a half with Dozie so it’s been so hard.

Dozie was preceded by Louis and leaves behind furbaby, Honey; her daddy, Robert Salinas; her momma Eva Salinas; sisters, Stacy, Angela, and her favorite sister, Erica! Dozie loved all of the grandkids! Dozie will forever be loved and in our hearts!!!
