Lucy Crouch
Lucy Crouch, age 13, passed over the rainbow bridge on June 21, 2020. She was born in 2006. Lucy’s adventures with the Crouch family began shortly after she was born. They adopted her from a family friend who was unable to keep her. The Crouch’s would say adopting Lucy was one of the best decisions they have ever made. She poured so much love into her family…and made their everyday life so much sweeter!
Lucy, AKA Chuck, (short for Chucklehead), because she had one hilarious personality, was always doing something to make her family laugh….this was especially true when she was young! She could often be found herding up cats, horses, ducks, chickens, or kids! Her energy level was nothing short of impressive! Lucy kept very busy chasing the John Deere Gator when she was outside. And when she was inside, she chased the cat and the sweeper. Often times when she was chasing that sweeper she had a stuffed animal in her mouth. She’d shake her toy at the sweeper and make everyone laugh!
Lucy will be missed so much by her Mom & Dad; Sissy, Lyndsea; Ashley, and all of her fur siblings. Lucy was so much more than a dog...she was a best friend to all her family members. So many things will be missed about Lucy, but more than anything her family will miss the unconditional love that she so freely gave to each of them!
"A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself." -Josh Billings
