A beautiful tribute, written by Patti Luttrell, Macy's Mom.
Macy, a pomeranian terrier mix, passed over Rainbow Bridge on Oct 16, 2020 at around 14 years of age.
She was probably 2 years old when she was rescued at the Humane Society in April 2008 by John and Ashley King. In March 2015, John gifted Macy to his mom, Patti Luttrell. It only took a few weeks and Macy knew that she would continue to be the princess in this home too!
Macy’s favorite thing to do was to take car rides. All I had to say was “Macy, do you want to go for a ride?” even if she was sound asleep, she would jump up and start barking. She also loved to go to the Threshing show at the 4-H Fairground and ride around on the golf cart. You never had to ask her twice if she wanted to go for a ride.
Macy was the best dog that I could ever have asked for, she had the best smile most of the time, except when I started dressing her up, she didn’t go for that at all but I loved it! I am so thankful to my son for gifting her to me, he had done for hardest part-training her- all I had to do was love her.
I miss her so much, it is so quite and lonely in the house without her with me. She will be missed by everyone else in the family, all my kids and grandkids, and also my sister, Paula, who always took good care of her when I had to be out of town or in the hospital.
Love you forever Macy!!
