Michael E. Bannon

Michael Eugene Bannon, age 67, of Atlanta, Indiana passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024. He was born on November 18, 1956, to the late Donald M. Bannon and Jane (Holloway) Bannon. Michael lived a life marked by independence and personal strength.

A devoted outdoorsman, Michael found joy and peace in mushroom hunting, fishing, hunting, and snowmobiling. His love for these activities was a testament to his adventurous spirit. Michael was also a skilled Mason for several years, known for his meticulous work and dedication to his craft. After retiring from masonry, he continued his career as a truck driver.  Even in his chosen solitude and quiet, he was a devoted father and grandfather.  He enjoyed watching his grandchildren playing sports and participating in activities. Michael was incredibly proud of his family, and he will be greatly missed.

Michael is survived by his siblings, Mary Bannon and Steve (Deb) Bannon; his children, Michael Shane (Michelle) Bannon and Elizabeth Bannon; his grandchildren, Brayden Michael Bannon and Brianna Michelle Bannon. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Jane Bannon, and his brother, Robert Bannon.
