Mona D. Day

Mona D. (Coombs) Day, age 78, of Kokomo, entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 28, 2021. She was born on February 12, 1943 to her parents, Roscoe Coombs and Geneva (Bowman) Coombs. Mona was raised by her loving grandparents, Sylrilda and Edgar Bowman. She married Marvin Day on May 12, 1978, he preceded her on April 19, 2001. Mona was also preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, three sisters, and two brothers.

Those left to carry on Mona’s legacy of love are her sister-in-law, Barbara Coombs, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Area Five Guardianship Program would like to extend a special thank you to Mona’s long-time caregivers: Jo and Tom Nelson & family, Kerry Wilcox, and many others over the years at Servant’s Heart Home Health Services.

A graveside service celebrating Mona’s life will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 2:00pm at Albright Cemetery in Kokomo, IN., with Pastor Brad Swain officiating.
