Newton Beaty, age 12, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge May 1, 2020 with his loving humans by his side.
Newton came to us at a time when we were grieving the passing of another family dog. He definitely kept us on our toes from the get go.
Newton was 2 years old when he came to live with us, we got him from a friend who had several smaller dogs and Newton had learned to open the sliding glass doors and let all the dogs out, he was literally too smart for his own good. This trait never stopped, soon he was opening doors in our home, peanut butter jars etc. Newton was a talented counter surfer and could put away a couple of Sugar Cream Pies in no time. He eventually learned how to help himself to pizza on the counter and put the lid back so it looked liked no one had taken any only to be completely empty on the inside. Newton has always managed to save us from the mailman, UPS and Federal Express Villains that roam the streets.
Newton was a very loving dog and very loyal to his parents and will be missed greatly. Things simply will not be the same without him.
