Parker (Boes) Vandevender, age 14, passed over the Rainbow Bridge on Monday, January 17, 2022 with her loving family by her side. Parkers gotcha day was June 6, 2012 by her first family. Due to circumstances beyond her family’s control, they did the best thing for Parker by finding her the most wonderful family for her to join. Parker was adopted on June 6, 2014 at the age of two as a bonded pair with her sister, Alley. They were adopted in North Carolina and were not excited about the first winter in Tipton. Parker and Alley lived in Tipton for a while with Jennifer, then temporarily moved to a farm with friends. This move became a permanent move with Bill and Cherissa. Her families loved her very much. She was such a sweet and loving girl.
Parker, also affectionately known as Princess Parker, loved the farm. Her favorite activity was running around the barn with her sister Alley who passed away in 2019. Parker also loved being under the blankets when she was sleeping. If she was cold or excited her teeth chattered. It was so cute and always made us chuckle. She loved people food and always waited patiently for some of mom & dad’s cooking!
Parker is survived by her human and furry family; Dad, Bill Vandevender; Mom's, Jennifer Boes and Cherissa Vandevender; human sisters, Cheriah and Mya; human brothers, Kenton and Gabe; fur sister, Dani; fur brothers, Sebastian, Gus and Tig.
Parker was greeting at the end of the Rainbow Bridge by her sister, Alley! Imagine the time they had running through endless fields of tall soft grass after two years apart.
~What a beautiful world it would be if people had hearts like dogs~
