Randy Brown Obituary

Randy Edward Brown, age 29, of Windfall, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at his home. Randy was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 2, 1992, to his parents, Charles & Penny (Young) Brown. On February 15, 2014, Randy married his best friend, Hayleigh Brown; they shared 7 years of marriage.

Randy graduated from Tri-Central High School, class of 2012. Growing up, he worked at local farms and seed companies. He most recently worked for Tebbe Farms.

Randy loved nothing more than to have a pole in the water! He was a lifelong fisherman and loved to tell a good fish story! He was a big Football fan watching IU and the Broncos anytime he could. His children meant the world to him; he never passed up a moment to play outside with them. Every morning he and his brother, Craig, would meet up to enjoy coffee together and solve the worlds problems.

He was such a jokester, always joking around with someone. He loved to pester his sister-in-law, Amanda, but he did it with love in his heart and a smile on his face! He would do just about anything to make someone smile. He had a caring heart for others. If you ever needed anything all you had to do was ask and he would do whatever he could to help. He was an awesome dad, husband, son, brother, and all-around great guy! He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Those left to carry on Randy’s legacy of love are his wife, Hayleigh Brown; parents, Charles & Penny Brown; children, Kayleigh Brown, Summer Brown, Jace Brown, Hayden Brown; brother, Craig Brown; sister-in-law, Amanda (Brad) Collins; and nieces, Madison Collins, Brooklyn Collins, and Daisy Brown.

He was welcomed into Heaven by his grandparents, John & Mary Brown, Roy Brown; and cousin, Zoe Myers.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Taylor & Cowan Funeral Home from 11:00am - 1:00pm.  A service will follow immediately with Pastor David Migrant officiating.
