Rosemary Robinson, aged 90, of Tipton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 25, 2022. She passed away at Century Villa in Greentown, IN, with loved ones by her side. Rosemary was born on September 27, 1931, to Calvin and Catherine (Ley) Terry, in Tipton County. On November 13, 1949, she married Willis Robinson, sharing nearly 64 years together before he passed away in August 2013. They built a lifetime of memories, while raising their seven children.
Rosemary was a graduate of Windfall High School. Through the years, she worked at Hobbs Canning Factory, Tipton Dry Cleaners, and Overdorf Farms, retiring from there after 20 plus years. She was a member of Trinity Wesleyan Church.
Rosemary loved hand quilting, gardening and canning, and growing flowers. She loved to cook for her family. She was a sweet soul, both humble and kind to those she met. She was selfless and would always put others before her own needs. She worked hard, and it didn't go unnoticed by her family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed.
Those left to carry on Rosemary's legacy of love are her children; Randy (Marilyn) Robinson, Brenda (Jake) Shaffer, Kelly (Todd) Gullion, Jennifer Colter, Melanie (Rod) Yundt, Lori (Scott) Miller, daughter-in-law Donna Robinson, grandchildren; Scott (Charlene) Robinson, Andrew (Bre) Robinson, Cory Robinson, Amy (Dustin) Parks, Jason (Gail) Stout, Jeremy Stout, Mandy (Wilbur) Jess, Sara (Alex) Wessels, Derek (Kiersten) Gullion, Steven (Taylor) Woodrum, Stephanie Wilson,, Matthew (Tabatha) Colter, Brianna (Zach) Huff, Hayley Yundt, Bethany Yundt, Hayden Yundt, Quinn Miller, Ian Miller; great-grandchildren, Kyra, Lillyan, Isaac, Katlyn, Brendan, Brielle, Leah, Lucas, Benjamin, Calvin, Sophia, Scarlett, Bentley, Oliver, Waylon, Elliana, Abram, Elijah, Maddie, and Maverick; brother, Tom (Patty) Terry, and sister-in-law, Roberta Terry.
Rosemary was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, Calvin and Catherine Terry; husband, Willis Robinson; son, Terry Robinson, and brothers, Frank Terry and Gerald Terry.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Century Villa, and their staff, for the loving care Rosemary received there.
A funeral service celebrating Rosemary's life will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at 11:00AM at Trinity Wesleyan Church, located at 3021 IN 28 in Tipton, with Rev. Harvey Herring officiating. A visitation for family and friends will take place on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at the church from 5:00-8:00PM and prior to the service on Thursday, March 3, from 10:00-11:00AM.
