Sandra Kay (Heaton) Robertson

Sandra Kay Robertson, age 79, of Kewanna, Indiana, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Monday, June 13, 2022. Sandra was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 6, 1943, to her parents, Walter Heaton & Harriet (Little) Clem.  She was married to William Robertson, he preceded her in death.

Sandra graduated from Tipton Township, Class of 1961. During high school, Sandra attended the beauty college vocational school and earned a cosmetology license.  She worked many different types of jobs over the years.  She was a bartender, owner and secretary of Steel Cargo, drove a semi, and worked in home health until she was too sick to work.  She was a lifetime member of the Women of the Moose and Order of the Rainbow. 

In her free time, she enjoyed bowling, reading, and sewing.  She was an incredibly caring person and a true leader.  She had a soft heart for animals and people alike.  During her work as a CNA, she was an advocate for her patients, their health and happiness meant so much to her.  Her gentle soul will be greatly missed by everyone that had the privilege of knowing her.

Those left to carry on Sandra’s legacy of love are her children, Shelia (Randy) Lacy, Kenneth (Barbara) Trinosky; grandsons, Michael Horn, Dylon Horn, Tyler (Jessica) Trinoskey, Dakota (Megan) Trinoskey; great grandchildren, Braxton, Leilani, Ashlynne, Audrey, Maple, Joshua, Cole, Lili, Braylee; step mother, Jean Ann Heaton; sisters, Judy (James) Sprinkle, Marsha (Terry) Beck, Gay (Wayne) Robertson, Thomas (Brenda) Heaton; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  

Sandra was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, Walter Heaton & Harriet Clem; first husband, Kenneth Trinoskey, second husband, Kenneth Ward, third husband, William Robertson; brother, Paul Heaton; and stepfather, Vernon Clem.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Sandra’s honor to the Moose Heart.
