Sarah Altherr, age 17, crossed over the rainbow bridge on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.
Sarah, often refereed to as “Scare Bear”, meant the world to her family. She was a mother, sister, and a best friend to her family. She was a typical cattle dog that loved to run and chase four wheelers, cats, and birds. Sarah enjoyed going for rides. Her favorite thing to do in this world was to be in the water! It didn’t matter if it was a pond or a little puddle, if she could find in, she was in it!
She loved everyone she met with one exception, her cousin Shania…although I’m sure she loved her in her own way, she had a funny way of showing it. She loved her family; wherever Joe was, there she would be also! She will be deeply missed by her family.
She is survived by Joe, Linda, Braxton, Courtney, Ezikiah, & Isaiah.
Dogs come into our lives to teach us about love.
They depart to teach us about loss.
A new dog never replaces an old dog,
it merely expands the heart.
