Sassy Morrisett

Sweet Sassy Morrisett, age 7, crossed over the rainbow bridge on Wednesday, May 8, 2019.

Sassy loved going on walks with her dad every day. She also loved riding in the car with her parents. Her favorite game was tug of war, but she loved playing with all of her toys. Sassy was a bit of a bed hog. She spent many nights sleeping right between her parents, a few times she even pushed her mom out of bed.

Sassy came to her parents, Butch and Wanda, as a rescue. She was so happy to find a family to love her. One of Sassy’s favorite activities was eating. She loved all food, but especially her family’s home cooked meals. Sassy was full of excitement when company came to the house, yet she also never hesitated to defend her home and family if she needed to. She was very spoiled, and she loved every minute of it. Sassy was more than a dog, she was a companion, and she will be so greatly missed!

Sassy is survived by her parents, Butch and Wanda Morrisett, and fur-kitten, Daisy May.
