Sassy Vandevender
Sassy, aka “Sass A Frasy” was adopted from an estate sale, and into the Vandevender family on May 7, 2016. She crossed over the rainbow bridge on May 16, 2020. The first years of Sassy’s life were a little rough, but after this beautiful girl found her people everything turned around for her. For the first time in her life, Sassy was able to experience what it meant to be spoiled. In fact, her favorite activities were wrestling with her Daddy, being lazy, and laying in the middle of the king sized bed watching Animal Planet. Sassy could often be found begging for treats from her Dad. She liked anything he cooked on the grill.
Sassy developed a comical, yet bossy little personality… especially with her brother, Sebastian. She stole his toys all the time and he just let her. Sassy kind of ended up being the boss of everyone in the house, and she was just cute enough to get away with it. The weekends were especially enjoyable times for the Vandevender crew. Mom and Dad couldn’t sleep in too late though…Sassy and Sebastian would take over the bed and usually end up in a barking contest to see who could bark the most! Thankfully, they gave away lots of kisses and snuggles to make up for their orneriness.
Sassy made everyday better for the family that she loved, making each of them feel priceless. Sassy is survived by her Dad, Bill; Mom, Cherissa; Sister, Cheriah; Fur Brothers, Sebastian and Tig; and Fur Sister, Parker.
