Scarlet Rose crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on Friday, January 24, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born in Alexandria, Indiana in September 2013 and brought home to her family at the young age of 10 weeks old.
Scarlett was a beautiful girl who loved chasing balls and eating anything that was left out. Scarlett had a stomach of steel; she ate it all! Eventually, her family learned to keep things out of her reach, but not before she ate a lot of socks and towels!
Scarlet love chasing tennis balls. She could chase them all day in her younger years, but lately she has just love laying by her mama and dad enjoying the leisurely life. She was not a high energy dog by any means. Scarlett loved the cold and would choose to lay outside in the cold rather than inside by a fire, and she always found the coldest spot in the house to lay.
Scarlett was so loved by all who knew her. She was an intricate part of her family, immediate and extended, and she will be missed by all who loved her.
Scarlet is survived by her parents, Chris and Jennifer Hayes; her human siblings, Kristen (Dan) Crockett, Kyle (Jordan) Hayes; her human nephews, Henry and Archie; her beloved fur sister, Laci Grace; fur brother, Chance; and her kitty siblings, Loki and Callie.
Scarlett was the best dog and a dream to have. She will always be remembered and loved forever. Scarlett would have loved if any donations could be made to the Humane Society of Tipton County in her name.
“A dog’s love is so pure and selfless; it has the power to bring us peace and happiness in even our darkest hours.”
