Shirley Fogle

Shirley (Smithers) Fogle, age 91, of Tipton, Indiana passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at The Waters of Tipton.  She was born on September 22, 1933, in Manistique, Michigan to her parents, William Earl Smithers & Kathryn Mae (Robare) Smithers.  She married the love of her life, Jewel Finley Fogle; he preceded her in death in 1996.

Shirley was a homemaker and took great pride in keeping a nice house.  In her free time, she loved art and landscaping.  She was the oldest of four siblings.  What she looked forward to most in life were the visits from her grandchildren.  She was lovingly known as Grandma Nobody by her grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed!

Those left to carry on Shirleys’s legacy of love are her grandchildren, Amy Shanks,  Jerrold (Anastasia) Arionus, Christopher (Jamie) Martin, Heather (Colby) Alderson, Brandon Martin; great-grandchildren, Andrew Nearon,  Lucas Nearon, Casen Martin; and several great-great grandchildren.

Shirley was welcomed into Heaven by her husband Jewel; all four of her children,  Patricia Fogle McCombs, Kim J Fogle, Kevin Jewel Fogle, Cheryl Kay Martin; and granddaughter, Michelle Nearon-Vega  

Burial will take place at a later date at Albright Cemetery in Kokomo, Indiana.
