Simba Cook, age 15.5, crossed over the rainbow bridge on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, surrounded by the love of his wonderful family. Simba was born on December 24, 2008, and grew up with his human sister Marla. They were the best of friends; the way only furry and human siblings can be! Simba always had a listening ear and seemed to understand what Marla needed whether it was a cuddle or something silly to make her smile.
Simba was Harmony’s shadow, he followed her everywhere she went and just wanted to always be close to her. To say Simba was spoiled is an understatement but that’s just how a dog’s life should be! He looked forward to going through the Starbucks drive thru to get a pup cup after a visit with the groomer. He loved little milk bones and chicken more than any other treat. He had the best personality, incredibly loyal to his family. He was a bit snobby towards other dogs but who could blame him, he had all he needed with his human family. He was the best cuddler and his absence will be felt. Some dogs are just so special that nothing will ever compare, and Simba was definitely one of those dogs.
Simba was precious to many and will be greatly missed!! He is survived by his parents, Harmony & Matt Cook; siblings, Marla Murray and Kailin Cook; as well as many extended family.
