Smokey Nuttall
Smokey Nuttall, AKA Smoke, Smokey Bokey, age 18, passed over the rainbow bridge on June 20, 2020. He was born on March 3, 2002. Smokey’s adventures with the Nuttall family began in 2014. His dad, Matt rescued him from a shelter and was told he would probably only live another 6 months. Instead, the Nuttall family was blessed with 6 years with Smokey!
He was the best dog ever! Smokey had an amazingly sweet demeanor. He always tried to please and be an obedient boy. He loved sleeping, cuddling, eating, and chewing on frozen marrow bones. Smokey’s personality was very chill! He loved people, and more so enjoyed getting lovins from people. Smokey made his family laugh with his constant licking of inanimate objects, such as… the floor, the couch, a speaker. Most of the time, Smokey acted like a typical little old man…he even had a bald spot on his bottom!
Smokey’s family is very thankful they adopted a senior dog. Smokey enriched their everyday lives in more ways then they could ever explain. Because of this amazing experience, the Nuttall’s would like to encourage anyone who is considering adoption, to adopt a senior dog. It could be one of the best decisions you’ll ever make….:)
Smokey is survived by his Dad & Mom, Matt & Faith Nuttall, and fur brothers, Bear & Odin.
