Smooth Talkin Tianna Ziegler

Smooth Talking Tianna was born on the Ziegler family farm on May 7, 1990 and passed on the Ziegler family farm July 20, 2020.

Horses like Tianna are rare and hard to come by but when they are raised in a loving environment with the best of care their whole lives; they flourish and give so much back to their family.  She spent her whole life trying to please her family and can never be replaced.  Her family is lucky to have a little piece  of her to continue the legacy of her gentle spirit, in her daughter, Heida. 

Tianna was not only a pleasure to be around, she was also an award and money earner in the Indiana Reining Horse Association and the Indiana Cutting Horse association.  She won several awards and monetary earnings in Indiana High School Rodeo Association, International Professional Rodeo Association, open Shows, and 4-H.

She loved her family, Tony, Sammy, Justin, and Gatlin Ziegler. She was the go-to girl when anyone wanted to ride or show.  She was especially close with Sammy; they had a bond that was hard for anyone to imagine. Tianna would try anything new and different for her the way she would for no one else because she knew she would never be put in harm’s way.  If you can earn a horse’s trust, you have gained a friend for life. 

She is deeply missed by her traveling partners, Major and Heida. They are grieving their loss just as much as her human family is.  

Tianna was one of a kind and had the attitude to prove it!  She loved her scratches, rub downs, and alfalfa treats. She was a special horse with a huge heart for anyone she met.  She was a truly a people lover, anyone that met her wanted to take her home.

Tianna's beautiful soul and gentle spirit will be so dearly missed by her family, human and fur alike.
