Sparkle Burris Obituary

Sparkle Marie Burris, age 9, passed over the rainbow bridge on October 16, 2023. She was born on October 14, 2014. She crawled up on her momma’s shoulder the first time they met (when Sparkle was only 4 weeks old), and that’s when they knew she was going to be theirs!

Sparkle was a very attentive, sweet natured, and talkative cat. She enjoyed sleeping, playing with craft pom-poms, being brushed, getting her belly rubbed, playing with racetrack fever up and down the stairs, lap sitting, cuddling, and bird and squirrel watching.

Sparkle loved chicken baby food for her daily morning treat which she would perform rolls and present her belly for while asking for her snack.

Sparkle is survived by her mom, Heather Burris; sister, Maeleigh Burris; granny, Karen Burris; furry sisters, Dottie Sue & Ruby Jean; as well as her backyard squirrel buddies that she enjoyed chatting with.

Sparkle was the most docile, sweet cat! She allowed her BFF, Maeleigh, to do anything and everything with her; including dressing her up in embarassing outfits, mani/pedi dates, walks in the cat stroller....but, mostly being the best pal a girl could ask for!

There are just so many amazing and funny memories. Sparkle has left a hole in the hearts of her family, and she will certainly never be forgotten.
