Teresa Kay Jackson

Teresa Kay Jackson, age 55, of Tipton, passed away at Community Howard Regional Health with her loved ones by her side on Friday, November 5, 2021. Tessie was born in Tipton, Indiana on May 9,1966, to her parents, Paul Jackson and Lunell (Clancy) Bowman. 

Tessie attended Kokomo High School, class of 1984.  She loved to play the guitar and had a beautiful singing voice.  She enjoyed singing all types of music, but country was her favorite.  She loved the mountains so much and no doubt she is singing a beautiful country song from the highest peak in Heaven.

Tessie was a free spirit who had her own way of doing things.  She was very strong willed but could bend when needed.  She had a great sense of humor and had a way of making her sisters laugh!  She had a very special relationship with her mom and always wanted to be right by her side, even as an adult.  She will be missed so dearly by her family and friends.  

Those left to carry on Tessie’s legacy of love are mom, Lunell Bowman; sisters, Tina D. VanHorn and Paula Gamble; brother, Austin VanHorn; cousin, Allen Clancy; uncle, Bobby Clancy; one niece and 2 nephews.  

Tessie was welcomed into Heaven by her dad, Paul Jackson; grandparents, Mary & Bill Miller and Ozzy & Aida Jackson.
