Little Trudy Wolverton, age 4 months, passed over the rainbow bridge on Friday, February 3, 2022. Trudy only lived 4 months, however her mom, Carol Wolverton crammed a lifetime of love into that time. Trudy was a feral cat. She was a free spirit and loved to explore with her brothers and sisters. When the exploring was done, Trudy knew she could come back to Carol's doorstep, to get her belly full of food, and her heart full of Carol's nurturing, unconditional love.
For Carol, this is a way of life. Animals do not have a voice! They depend on humans to be their advocates, stewards, and caregivers! Thank goodness for people like Carol, who have a passion and heart for the care of animals! Carol, thank you for being an example and reminder of this ever present need that exists in our community.
*Carol would like to encourage anyone who might be looking for a worthy cause in which to donate; please give to your local Humane Society.
"Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains un-awakened." ~Anatole France
