Tyson Butcher, age 9, of Kokomo, crossed the Rainbow Bridge on September 10, 2021 with his loving momma by his side. He was born in June of 2012.
Stephanie was offered a puppy from her uncle not long after just moving in with her boyfriend (now husband, DJ). They discussed it and decided together that it just wasn’t the right time to add a puppy to the mix so…Stephanie called her uncle and said “Yes, I’ll take him!”
Tyson was a typical Labrador; laid back and easy going yet full of spunk and high energy! He was a momma’s boy, through and through. He was her protector, her shadow, and her snuggle buddy all in one. In true momma boy fashion, he followed her everywhere she went. One of his favorite spots was on top of the toilet seat next to the vanity so he could watch her get ready in the morning before work.
Tyson loved his snacks, his favorites being popcorn and watermelon! He would get so excited every time he would hear the popcorn popping in the microwave or he saw his momma cut up a watermelon. He enjoyed running around the backyard and playing fetch with a tennis ball. His family will always hold a special place in their hearts for him.
Tyson is survived by his mom and dad, Stephanie & DJ Butcher; little brothers, Quincy & Bo; and his big furry sister, Sadie.
"Dogs lives are too short. Their only fault, really."
